Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Risk Management Specialist to join our team and drive risk management excellence through timely and accurate reporting, awareness programs, and ensuring stakeholders are equipped to make reliable business decisions.

This role has a high level of autonomy, undertaking audit engagements independently with high stakeholder engagement.


About the Role

In this integral position, you will bring together the many facets of risk management, responsible for deliverables such as:

  • Internal Audit and Integrity Programs
  • Providing assurance to board committees, executives, and senior leadership on risk decision-making, reporting, and monitoring across the organisation
  • Developing resiliency programs including business continuity management and risk mitigation strategies key to organisational resiliency
  • Enterprise risk management activities
  • Quality and Compliance, obligation due diligence (legislative, regulatory, standards, and grants)
  • Procedural and proactive tracking of assurance review recommendations and escalations
  • Risk management activities to ensure ongoing operational control effectiveness and associated treatment plan reviews
  • Leading the organisation's risk management information system and Document Management system capability and maturity
  • Constructive working relationships with business owners, risk, quality, and compliance community
  • Managing insurance arrangements with the broker
