Lead the enterprise-wide transformation journey for one of Australia's most trusted superannuation providers.

Role: Chief Transformation Officer

MUFG Retirement Solutions | Executive Role | Focus on Strategy, Innovation and Enterprise-Wide Change

Are you a visionary transformation leader ready to shape the future of retirement solutions?

At MUFG Retirement Solutions, we're building the future of superannuation administration — driven by technology, powered by people, and anchored in client trust. We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Chief Transformation Officer to partner directly with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to deliver our bold transformation agenda. This critical executive role will spearhead major change initiatives, align cross-functional priorities, and deliver innovation across our operations, technology, and member experience.

About the Role

As Chief Transformation Officer, you'll take ownership of an enterprise-wide transformation roadmap that balances technology modernisation, operational excellence, customer experience, and regulatory readiness. You'll lead complex cross-functional change programs that simplify, digitise, and scale the way we deliver value to members, clients, and partners.

This is a highly visible, executive leadership role responsible for:

  • Designing and executing large-scale digital and operational transformation programs across all business lines.
  • Driving adoption of emerging technologies: cloud-native platforms, AI, speech analytics, cognitive automation, and workforce planning automation.
  • Embedding agile ways of working, lean re-engineering, and end-to-end process optimisation.
  • Strengthening organisational agility, culture, and internal capability to deliver sustained change.
  • Partnering with clients to co-design target operating models that support service excellence and growth.
  • Maintaining strong governance, risk, and compliance oversight across all transformation programs.
  • Leading and influencing at Board, CEO, and Executive levels.

What You Bring

  • Executive leadership experience delivering enterprise-wide transformation, ideally within superannuation, financial services, or complex operational service businesses.
  • A deep understanding of emerging technology, automation, AI, cloud platforms, and digital enablement.
  • Proven capability driving transformation in large, scaled environments while balancing client experience, operational efficiency, and regulatory obligations.
  • Expertise in partnering with senior internal and external stakeholders to deliver sustainable business outcomes.
  • Strong consulting mindset and commercial acumen with a focus on strategic value creation.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, or a related field; MBA highly regarded.

Why Join MUFG Retirement Solutions?

Join an organization at the forefront of financial transformation and innovation. At MUFG Retirement Solutions, you'll work with forward-thinking leaders who are deeply committed to shaping a sustainable and customer-centric future. Be a part of:

  • Executive sponsorship and full CEO partnership
  • High-impact transformation mandate with significant investment
