Koala is seeking an experienced 3D artist to join our team as a Senior 3D Artist - Furniture Industrial Design. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating realistic 3D renders of furniture industrial designs, focusing on accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Develop highly detailed and realistic fabrics and materials to enhance the realism of the renders.
- Work closely with designers and engineers to ensure that each model meets specifications and design requirements.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling visual assets for promotional materials and marketing campaigns.
- Gather information to create models: sketches, drawings, photographs, and video, materials, finished product samples – in general, everything that will help to understand the appearance and structure of the object.
- Oversee and maintain library of furniture models built in collaboration with Cylindo.
- Manage the day-to-day project management and workflow of 3D Assets for Koala with both external and internal stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in 3D rendering and industrial design.
- An expert in 3D modelling able to accurately replicate furniture to provided specifications.
- Exacting eye for detail and a passion for creating highly detailed and life-like fabrics and materials.
- Proven experience as a 3D artist specialising in furniture industrial design, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Proven experience in developing and optimising materials library - creating accurate and richly detailed materials and textured to accurately represent the products.
- Experience working with the Chaos platform, with a strong understanding of web-based AR platforms.
- Familiarity with Cylindo is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
