Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Learning
    • Plan, prepare, and deliver effective learning and teaching programs for young people in middle and senior phases of secondary education.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's objectives and planning.
  • Program Development
    • Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a supportive school environment.
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement programs that meet the needs of young parents.
  • Student Support
    • Provide individualized support to young parents to help them achieve their educational goals.
    • Work with students to develop strategies to balance their educational and parenting responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
  • Skills and Experience
    • Ability to commit to and work within our Operating Principles: Respect, Participation, Safe and Legal, and Honesty.
    • Experience working with young parents and students with diverse needs.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
