Program Director - Wellbeing and Engagement

St Joseph's is seeking an experienced leader to shape the future of our school during this exciting transition. As a Program Director - Wellbeing and Engagement, you will play a key role in supporting students with diverse challenges and promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement programs that promote student wellbeing and engagement
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to provide support and resources for students
  • Lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality programs and services
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including parents and community members
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote student wellbeing and engagement
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as youth work, social work, or psychology
  • 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Ability to commit to and work within our Operating Principles: Respect, Participation, Safe and Legal, and Honesty
  • Well-developed understanding of the developmental needs of young people from a disadvantaged or disengaged perspective
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in staff support, development, and professional supervision in education within collaborative multidisciplinary team settings
