Strategic Stakeholder Engagement Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Stakeholder Engagement Advisor to lead our stakeholder engagement and communication activities, ensuring alignment with corporate values and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Stakeholder Engagement Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive engagement strategies to foster open and transparent relationships with communities, government agencies, and industry stakeholders.
- Communication Materials Development: Create high-quality communication materials tailored for various audiences, ensuring clear, consistent, and aligned messaging with our organizational goals.
- Issue Management and Regulatory Oversight: Navigate complex issues by applying strong stakeholder management skills, develop risk mitigation strategies, and provide strategic communications advice to address potential concerns. Ensure compliance with public communications policies and track stakeholder engagement activities.
- Mentorship and Team Development: Actively mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative environment where innovation and creativity are encouraged. Help develop the skills of others in the team.
- Crisis Communication Preparedness: Participate in crisis communications preparedness and management, ensuring that our organization is equipped to respond effectively to any challenges that may arise.
- Tertiary qualifications in communications, public policy, social sciences, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in stakeholder relations or communications, demonstrating a track record of success in managing complex projects.
- Strong analytical, research, and strategic planning skills to inform decision-making and communication strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and a compliance-focused mindset.
- Proven ability to represent the organisation at external events, functions, and meetings, showcasing diplomacy and effective dispute resolution skills.
