At Troocoo, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Stakeholder Engagement Advisor to lead our stakeholder engagement and communication activities. This role requires a strong ability to build trust with communities, government agencies, and industry stakeholders, ensuring alignment with our corporate values and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and implement comprehensive engagement strategies to foster open and transparent relationships with stakeholders. Your ability to build trust will be essential in supporting our initiatives and objectives.
  • Communication Development: Create and deliver high-quality communication materials tailored for various audiences. You will be responsible for ensuring that all messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with our organizational goals.
  • Issue Management: Navigate complex and evolving issues by applying strong stakeholder management skills. You will develop strategies for risk mitigation and provide strategic communications advice to address potential concerns.
  • Regulatory Oversight: Oversee the preparation of regulatory reports and ensure compliance with public communications policies. This includes tracking stakeholder engagement activities and ensuring that all communications meet regulatory requirements.
  • Mentorship: Actively mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative environment where innovation and creativity are encouraged. Your leadership will help develop the skills of others in the team.
  • Crisis Communication: Participate in crisis communications preparedness and management, ensuring that our organization is equipped to respond effectively to any challenges that may arise.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in communications, public policy, social sciences, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in stakeholder relations or communications, demonstrating a track record of success in managing complex projects.
  • Strong analytical, research, and strategic planning skills to inform decision-making and communication strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and a compliance-focused mindset.
  • Proven ability to represent the organisation at external events, functions, and meetings, showcasing diplomacy and effective dispute resolution skills.
