
Senior Diagnostic Equipment Specialist

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Biomedical Engineer to join our Engineering Team.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and servicing laboratory diagnostic instruments across the country. This role involves working closely with colleagues to ensure seamless integration of new equipment, troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and service tasks on laboratory diagnostic instruments and automation systems.
- Assist with the deployment and integration of new equipment in laboratory settings.
- Respond promptly to technical issues and take corrective action to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including inventory management, service orders and reports.
- Adhere to Workplace Health & Safety policies and regulations.
- Provide technical support and training to customers and stakeholders.
- Contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- Valid driver's license and permanent work rights in Australia.
- Proficiency in MS Windows environments; knowledge of LIS systems, Middleware Solutions, Linux, CAN-BUS and interfacing principles is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply engineering principles to real-world challenges.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and demonstrate self-organization.
