Product Specialist for Ophthalmic Diagnostics

The Product Specialist for Ophthalmic Diagnostics works closely with the Ophthalmic Surgical team to sell world-class ophthalmic diagnostic equipment into ophthalmology and optometry practices, hospitals, and day surgeries.

  • Achieve sales targets and deliver key performance indicators
  • Develop and grow the territory through engagement with existing and new customers
  • Manage key accounts and targeted customers
  • Understand customer objectives, buying criteria, and decision-making processes to form long-standing partnerships
  • Attend to customer inquiries and needs
  • Develop sales strategies and tactics with the Sales Manager, aligned with marketing plans
  • Submit monthly sales reports, including sales forecasts and market intelligence
  • Maintain accurate customer account records and data
  • Provide product information, demonstrations, and training to customers
  • Comply with stock keeping requirements
  • Complete administrative tasks on time
  • Attend exhibitions, conferences, and seminars as directed

Our ideal candidate must be experienced in sales, territory management, presenting, influencing, and time management, with strong written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to work flexible hours with occasional overnight travel.
