Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to deliver high-quality imaging services in our Cardiac Interventional Unit. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for overseeing imaging workflows, radiation safety, and equipment compliance, ensuring that all procedures are performed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Lead diagnostic imaging within the Cardiac Catheter Lab, ensuring high-quality images and optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve imaging workflows and radiation safety protocols.
- Mentor and support junior staff members, promoting excellence in patient care and professional development.
- A current registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner-Diagnostic Radiography from AHPRA.
- A Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science or equivalent qualification.
- A valid NSW EPA Radiation User Licence.
