Role Summary
">We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced professional to join our team in a part-time capacity (4 days per week). This role will undertake comprehensive assessments within the Kinship Care program, providing monitoring and support to kinship care placements arranged for vulnerable children.
This program aims to ensure the ongoing safety, stability, and developmental needs of these young people. Our services include timely assessments, identification of needs, referrals, access to family services, and flexible brokerage through the First Supports program and case contracting services.

Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Experience managing risk and wellbeing, working within the Best Interest Framework.">
- An understanding of how trauma can affect the development of young people.">
- Solid understanding of the Child Protection and Welfare system in Victoria.">
- Excellent written, verbal, and collaborative communication skills.">
- Strong assessment skills.">
- The ability to understand the challenges faced by carers.">
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a busy and dynamic program.">
- An empathy with values and mission to do better for Children, Young People, and Families.">
