**Job Opportunity:**

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Case Manager in our Out of Home Care program.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with kinship carers and children, providing assessment support to new placements. You will be part of a great team working from a central location in Bendigo, offering a good work-life balance at 30.4 hours per week.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing comprehensive assessments and providing support to kinship placements within our First Supports program. This includes assessing and providing family services support to newly established carers and occasionally children and young people to promote stability, safety, and developmental needs.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare comprehensive assessments of kinship placements.
  • Provide support to kinship carers and children to achieve set goals.
  • Liaise and make referrals with other professionals.
  • Identify strengths and vulnerabilities of placements.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of kinship care and its impact on families.
  • Excellent assessment and support skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with carers and other professionals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A salary starting at around $100,776 plus super at full-time hours (pro-rata to 30.4 hours per week).
  • Salary packaging up to $15,900 plus an entertainment card.
  • Negotiable salary increases dependent upon experience.
