About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Response Trainer to join our Fire and Rescue operations based in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering emergency response training programs that meet contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver emergency response training programs that align with national legislation and best practices.
  • Support the development of departmental-specific curriculum guidelines and assessment tools.
  • Contribute to the development of training curriculum, learning guides, and assessment procedures for emergency response topics.
  • Coordinate and deliver formal training across various locations in Australia.
  • Support Fire Crews with planning and facilitating team training activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Evidence of a background in firefighting and first aid capability.
  • Familiarity with emergency services and operational excellence practices.
  • Experience in training and people management.
  • Diploma of Public Safety (Emergency Management) or equivalent qualification.
  • Certificate III in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations) or equivalent qualification.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification.
