About the Role
">We are seeking an experienced Emergency Response Trainer to join our Fire and Rescue operations based in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering emergency response training programs that meet contractual requirements.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Develop and deliver emergency response training programs that align with national legislation and best practices.
- Support the development of departmental-specific curriculum guidelines and assessment tools.
- Contribute to the development of training curriculum, learning guides, and assessment procedures for emergency response topics.
- Coordinate and deliver formal training across various locations in Australia.
- Support Fire Crews with planning and facilitating team training activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">- Evidence of a background in firefighting and first aid capability.
- Familiarity with emergency services and operational excellence practices.
- Experience in training and people management.
- Diploma of Public Safety (Emergency Management) or equivalent qualification.
- Certificate III in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations) or equivalent qualification.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification.
