About the Role

This position will provide high-quality relationship counselling services to clients, including families, couples, and individuals, with a focus on the impact of presenting issues on the family and/or relationship. The successful candidate will also facilitate group programs, seminars, and workshops, and provide case planning and management processes with clients and stakeholders internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver face-to-face relationship counselling services from our Port Macquarie office, with occasional travel to our Taree office.
  • Facilitate group programs, seminars, and workshops to support clients in achieving their goals.
  • Develop and implement case plans with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective support and outcomes.
  • Provide high-quality report writing, case notes, data collection, and data entry services.
  • Utilize online systems and technology, including a CRM system and Zoom, to support client engagement and service delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in counselling, psychology, social work, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience and skills in delivering counselling services to individuals, couples, families, and children.
  • Strong case work and case planning skills, with the ability to implement and support case plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse clients and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and understanding of child inclusive practice, trauma-informed principles, and community services, particularly those relating to families experiencing relationship difficulties.
