Couples Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Couple & Family Counsellor to join our team at Relationships Australia NSW. As a Counsellor, you will provide high-quality therapy and support to individuals, couples, and families to address relationship issues and improve their overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual, couple, and family therapy sessions using a Family Systems Framework
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address relationship issues and improve client outcomes
- Collaborate with other professionals to provide comprehensive support to clients
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop effective interventions
- Provide education and support to clients on relationship dynamics, communication, and conflict resolution
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology, or a related field
- Post-graduate qualifications or training in Counselling or Couple and Family Therapy
- Experience working with individuals, couples, and families using a Family Systems clinical framework
- Strong understanding of family dynamics, child protection, domestic violence, mental health, and addiction
- Calm, professional, and compassionate approach when engaging with clients
- Registered or eligible to be registered with PACFA or ACA
- Permanent part-time position
- 3 days per week based at Macquarie Park
