Job Description:

As a High-Level Project Director within Macquarie's Risk Management Group, you will play a pivotal role in driving the effective delivery of strategic projects. The central projects and change team are responsible for partnering with risk management stakeholders to deliver transformation, uplift, and change to systems and processes that underpin successful operations.

The Operational Risk division is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of critical projects. These initiatives will be executed in alignment with the Risk Management Group's Project and Change Delivery Framework. Additionally, you will support the Non-Financial Risk Platforms team and guide them in managing their backlog of system features, enhancements, and process implementation from initial idea stage through to completion.

You will leverage your extensive project management experience to build strong relationships and work efficiently with diverse stakeholders. Your ability to communicate complex issues in a straightforward manner will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of strategic projects in alignment with the Risk Management Group's Project and Change Delivery Framework.
  • Support the Non-Financial Risk Platforms team in managing their backlog of system features, enhancements, and process implementation.
  • Build strong relationships and work efficiently with diverse stakeholders.
  • Communicate complex issues in a straightforward manner.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience as a Senior Project Manager within the Financial services industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge including experience of managing systems implementations and releases.
  • Experience in the Operational Risk domain and good working knowledge of Governance, Risk, and Compliance systems.
  • Demonstrable experience using agile tools and techniques e.g. managing flow of work using JIRA and facilitating agile ceremonies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
