Nurse Unit Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woodville. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of nurses to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing and/or midwifery services in a variety of health service settings, developing from competent to proficient practitioners.
- Accept accountability for their own practice standards, activities delegated to others, and the guidance and development of less experienced staff.
- Support the Nursing/Midwifery Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager or equivalent in the leadership of nurses/midwives in the ward/unit/service.
- Undertake a portfolio to promote continuity and consistency of care, assist in the implementation of practice changes, and assist in undertaking ward/unit/service management responsibilities.
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
