About the Role:

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to join our global logistics team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing our international logistics operations, identifying key areas for improvement, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to develop and implement strategies for logistics optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and optimize international logistics operations to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and implement logistics optimization strategies
  • Evaluate and enhance supply chain network design to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Drive and report on the effectiveness of logistics optimization initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant parties to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Stay updated with international trade regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proven experience (min 4-6 years') in optimizing international logistics flows, preferably within a global organization
  • In-depth knowledge of global transportation modes, regulations, and documentation requirements gained across multiple geographies, and/or within multiple industry profiles
  • Proficiency in applying international logistics optimization software tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sophisticated data and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – to enable effective collaboration cross-functionally
