About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Accelo. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high performance, availability, and security.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Containerisation and Orchestration: Design and implement containerisation and orchestration strategies using Docker and Kubernetes to ensure efficient and reliable deployment of applications.
  2. Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimise our cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with industry best practices.
  3. Monitoring and Logging: Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to identify and resolve issues proactively, ensuring system health and performance.
  4. Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and compliance of our cloud infrastructure, implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM) best practices and monitoring for potential security threats.
  5. Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and AWS SDK to streamline infrastructure management and deployment processes.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience in containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure management.
  2. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and microservices architecture.
  3. Extensive experience with AWS services and IAM, including security and compliance best practices.
  4. Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
  5. Familiarity with monitoring tools and enterprise-level monitoring solutions.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills
  1. Experience with automation tools and scripting languages.
  2. Understanding of network security concepts and best practices.
  3. Familiarity with DevOps practices and GitOps methodologies.
