We are seeking a talented professional to join our team and help drive success in the sporting sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support related to the delivery of the Athlete Management System (AMS). They will assist in projects, implement methods aimed at improving data quality and analysis, and assist in support-related tickets.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, the Support Consultant will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve section and business outcomes. This includes:

  • Developing knowledge and expertise in Smartabase as a technical expert and trusted advisor to the network.
  • Providing comprehensive support to sports, institutes, coaches, practitioners, and athletes.
  • Liaising with performance professionals to develop, evaluate, and improve data capture and analysis methods for AMS.
  • Liaising with end users of the data to ensure that data emanating from the system provides reliable support for athletes, coaches, scientists/clinicians, and management.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of policies, guidelines, and other resources that deliver business outcomes.
  • Actively promoting and role modeling the values of Excellence, Integrity, Respect, and Teamwork, and contributing to positive organisational change, effective communication, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in sports management, sport science, information management, information technology, or business administration.
  • Experience in high-performance sport or other high-performance areas.
  • Detailed knowledge and technical expertise of Smartabase.
  • Detailed knowledge of AMS administration structure.
  • Technology support, implementation, and system management experience.
  • Collaborative skills: working effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Communications skills: excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and customer support duties.
  • Customer service skills: demonstrated ability to provide customer support and deal with escalated customer issues.
  • Problem-solving skills: drive to offer solutions to problems, as well as passion for innovation.
  • Interpersonal skills: effectively influencing and communicating cross-functionally.
  • Organizational skills: multi-tasking, prioritizing work, and adapting during pressured situations.
