Job Overview:

This key leadership role is a pivotal part of our IT strategy, responsible for overseeing and driving the development of business-critical applications.

The ideal candidate will be accountable for ensuring systems are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.

They will contribute to strategic IT planning, manage or oversee delivery of major application changes, upgrades, and system integrations, and provide direction and support to internal staff and third-party vendors involved in application development and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end performance, reliability, and usability of key business applications.
  • Contribute technical oversight and guidance in projects and problem-solving.
  • Manage or oversee delivery of major application changes, upgrades, and system integrations.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to optimize existing applications and business processes through automation, configuration, or new technologies.
  • Maintain close working relationships with key departments to ensure systems are aligned with operational needs and strategic goals.
  • Implement and maintain application governance frameworks.

Requirements:

  • Strong commitment to a safe work environment and continuous improvement.
  • Self-starter able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Degree qualifications in Information Technology.
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Agile or Scrum certification.
  • BI platform certifications.
  • Cloud platform certifications.
  • DevOps or Software Development certifications.
