Disability Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Specialist to join our team.

This rewarding role involves providing one-on-one support to adults with disability in their homes and occasionally in the community.

You will work closely with individuals to implement personalised plans that address their unique needs and goals.

No two days are ever the same in this role As a Disability Support Specialist, you may assist clients with:

  • Goal-achieving strategies
  • Daily living and personal care needs
  • Overnight care and support

The Role Involves:

  • Providing emotional support and companionship
  • Assisting with daily tasks such as meal preparation and personal hygiene
  • Transporting clients to appointments and events

Requirements:

  • A positive attitude and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team
  • Australian Driver Licence and right to work in Australia
  • First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certificate (if not already held)

Experience or qualifications in disability support, community services or a related field would be highly regarded. We provide excellent training and support for those who do not have prior experience.
