At a leading global financial institution, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Assurance Manager to join our Non-Financial Risk Assurance team based in Sydney.

In this role, you will:

  • Test and design the operating effectiveness of critical controls
  • Identify improvements to the control framework to manage material risks
  • Report findings in written reports
  • Lead a program of work with the business to enhance controls specific to Banking and Wealth

You will provide commercial and insightful advice and agree actions to optimise risk management. You will develop ongoing relationships with key stakeholders and share learnings from experience across the industry to drive best practice.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in Operational Risk, Internal Audit or Assurance, ideally in Wealth Management and Banking. Strong understanding of controls, industry practices and regulatory landscapes is essential. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are also required.
