About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surveillance Trainee Operator to join our dynamic team at The Star Sydney. As a Surveillance Trainee Operator, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of our guests and team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor CCTV feeds to identify and respond to potential security threats
  • Collaborate with security personnel to coordinate emergency responses
  • Conduct regular CCTV scans to ensure property-wide operations are secure
  • Develop and maintain a keen observational skill to identify suspicious activity
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment to ensure seamless security operations
Requirements
  • Availability to work a 24hr rotating shift, including weekends and public holidays
  • Excellent keyboard typing proficiency and computer skills
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Casino gaming experience preferred but not essential
  • Attention to detail with good focus and concentration ability
  • Professional phone manner
  • Ability to handle emergency situations in a timely and professional manner
  • Self-discipline and ability to follow regimented procedures and learn new processes
  • Ability to work within a strong team environment
  • High level of personal integrity and ability to work in an extremely restricted and confidential environment
