As the General Manager, Surveillance and Compliance, you will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer, Sydney.

You will lead the strategic management and direction for the operation of the Surveillance function, ensuring the long-term safety and security of our guests and team members.

This is an exceptional opportunity where you will oversee CCTV, Facial Recognition, Security Access Control, and Two Way Radio at the Star Sydney.

Your responsibilities include:

A few of your key responsibilities

• Oversee the management and operation of the Surveillance division to achieve business and departmental objectives.

• Formulate measures to enhance asset protection and prevent/detect crime.

• Develop surveillance strategies and standards while ensuring delivery of technical advice and support.

• Provide leadership to the Surveillance team and identify development opportunities.

• Liaise with The Star Investigations team to ensure casino operations meet the highest standards of integrity.

What we are looking for

• Extensive experience in surveillance and management within the casino industry.

• Broad experience in casino game protection surveillance, knowledge of casino gaming, scams, and cheating techniques.

• Understanding of laws and regulations relevant to our organisation, including the Casino Control Act, NSW Liquor Act, Security Industry Act, and Crimes Act.

• Demonstrated competency in workforce planning, coaching, management, and engagement.

• Ability to communicate and implement statutory processes.

You will be a seasoned leader providing specialist expertise and insights to stakeholders across game integrity, surveillance operations, and systems.

Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of the Surveillance function at The Star Sydney.
