Establish Leadership in Building Structures

 

We are seeking a visionary leader to establish and grow our building structures discipline across Australia.

This senior role offers the opportunity to shape HDR's building structures offering in Australia. As an experienced and technically accomplished leader, you will develop and drive strategy, technical excellence and team development, while expanding our national footprint in close partnership with clients and HDR's cross-disciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive building structures strategy to drive growth and excellence across Australia.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and secure major project wins through exceptional business acumen and technical expertise.
  • Oversee the delivery of projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes that meet client expectations.
  • Drive technical excellence and quality across diverse sectors, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Lead a high-performing team aligned with HDR's values and technical standards, promoting diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Collaborate across business groups to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
  • Act as a member of the Building Engineering Services Leadership Team, championing strategic initiatives and best practices.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant tertiary qualification, professional registration, and a minimum of 15 years of experience within consulting engineering. You should be known for your technical expertise, commercial acumen, and ability to win and deliver complex projects. A strong client network and passion for innovation, quality, and team development will be key to your success.
