Key Responsibilities

Oversee the site Facilities and Maintenance team, managing all aspects of operations, manual handling engineering, risk management, and compliance. Ensure that the site facilities and assets adhere to applicable Australian Standards and Codes of Practice, local regulations, landlord and insurance requirements, as well as Primary Connect's policies and procedures. Supervise and manage contractor activities to ensure compliance with Primary Connect's standards, minimizing disruption to site operations. Conduct national, regional, and state inspections related to property and facilities management according to scheduled frequencies. Lead the procurement process for site-specific non-residential services and contracts in line with company guidelines. Serve as the primary contact for technical and maintenance inquiries, supporting onsite operational teams and contractors. Develop and manage operating expenditure budgets and forecasts.

Qualifications and Experience

Proven experience in a similar Facilities or Maintenance management role. Experience in managing direct reports. Familiarity with contract and contractor management. In-depth knowledge of fire services, essential safety measures, and relevant Australian standards. Excellent communication and influencing skills to foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders. Strong background in the facilities and/or property industry, with a preference for industrial or engineering trade experience.
