**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Disability Support Worker.

The successful applicant will provide high-quality support to individuals with disability, enabling them to live independently in their own homes and within the community.

The role involves providing active support, health support, and positive behaviour support, while also ensuring the safety of both the participant and yourself.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop personal interests and provide personal care, transportation, and coach independent living skills;
  • Administer and document medication and follow health support plans;
  • Manage behaviour triggers and escalation;
  • Evaluate and report on participant progress and any issues that may arise;

About You

  • Demonstrated motivation to work with people with disability;
  • Ability to fulfill a rotating roster including weekends and overnights;
  • NDIS Worker Check;
  • National Police Check;
  • Driver's license;
  • First aid certificate;
  • Up-to-date Covid vaccinations;
