About the Role

Ascensia Diabetes Care is a global specialist diabetes care company, dedicated to empowering people living with diabetes through innovative solutions that simplify and improve their lives.

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Excellence Lead to join our Australian business, responsible for driving continuous improvement in the execution of strategies across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Excellence and Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE): Develop and implement sales processes and reporting, including CRM enhancements, sales programs, and selling skills training.
  • Lead / Support Cross-Functional Projects: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new products, develop health economics and pricing strategies, and negotiate with health bodies.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Develop GTM strategies, particularly in opportunity areas, including hospitals, tenders, aged care, and new products.
  • Support Territory Business Managers: Provide compelling category insights and overviews to gain incremental support.
Requirements
  • Degree in Business or Marketing or relevant qualification
  • 5+ years in medical device or pharmaceutical industry, with proven experience in project management and strong understanding of industry, payment pathways, and ability to work through these
  • Ability to interpret, analyze data sets (IQVIA, IRI, Nielsen)
  • Ability to understand and apply market intelligence to sales strategy
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry in Australia
