Job Description

As an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist, you will perform maintenance tasks on aircraft under supervision on shift basis for Cathay Pacific and third-party customers. Your role is pivotal in ensuring safety, reliability, security, and presentation for our company, customers, and regulatory authorities.

This includes monitoring supplier performance, following up and rectifying operational issues in a timely manner, servicing and maintaining station ground equipment, vehicles, systems, and facilities, supporting contingency plans and ad hoc operational requirements, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with Occupational Health & Safety standards promoting a safe work environment.

Key Requirements
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance/Engineering.
  • Experience with wide-body aircraft types including B787, B777, A350, A330, A380, and B747-8 Freighter aircraft.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
  • Sensitivity to diverse cultures and personalities.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively with limited information and independently without supervision.
  • Safe working under time pressures.
  • Willingness to work varied shifts on a 24-hour, seven-day roster pattern.
