Job Title: Product Strategist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage the life cycle of our product portfolio. As a Product Strategist, you will be responsible for understanding consumer needs and driving business growth through effective product management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and expand our current and new product offerings, ensuring product relevance and competitiveness in the market.
  • Identify opportunities for new products by analyzing gaps in the market and understanding customer preferences and needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize product pricing and profitability, driving sales and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new and innovative products into the Australian market.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the industry market landscape to inform product development and range assortment decisions.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers through regular engagement and feedback.
  • Provide regular performance reports on category, channel, and product performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in product management or a related field.
  • Excellent project management skills with a focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant qualification in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Broad knowledge of the hand tool or hardware industries would be advantageous but is not mandatory.
