About the Role
The successful Lead Nursing Executive will play a key leadership role in shaping the hospital's strategic direction, driving operational efficiency, and upholding the highest standards of clinical care. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Leading a high-performing nursing team to deliver exceptional care and service
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency
Key Qualifications & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- AHPRA registration (current and relevant)
- Postgraduate qualification in nursing and/or management
- 5+ years' post-graduate nursing experience, including 1+ year in a leadership/administrative role
- Strong knowledge of ACQSHC National Standards, industrial relations, risk management, and accreditation requirements
- Business acumen, including an understanding of health funding models and financial management
Practical / Specialist Skills
In addition to your leadership skills, you will also require:
- Computer literacy in Microsoft programs, including Outlook
- Excel and spreadsheet management experience (advantageous)
- Ability to understand and interpret budgets and financial data
