Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Renewable Energy Equipment Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will work on Barrow Island, traveling from Perth and enjoying a 14:14 roster with paid travel days.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced mechanical fitters who enjoy working in remote locations and are familiar with FIFO arrangements. Our client operates on a decommissioned rig, offering a unique chance to gain experience in this field.

About the Role

The primary responsibilities of this role include ensuring the safe operation of machinery and equipment, diagnosing faults, and carrying out necessary repairs. You will also be responsible for physical inspections and accepting delivered goods and materials.

In addition, you will assist in ordering replacement equipment, parts, and supplies, as well as adhering to health and safety standards and procedures.

  • Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical)

  • Working at Heights
  • Enter work in confined spaces
  • Demonstrate firefighting
  • Escape Chute
  • Slewing mobile cranes (100T)
  • Full Working rights in Australia
Benefits

You will enjoy a starting rate of $800 per day, plus superannuation. Your PPE will be supplied, and you will have access to mobilization from Perth Airport.

Other Requirements

Please note that a full medical will be required, and you must be able to pass it. We are looking for candidates who are willing to obtain any additional certifications or training required for the role.
