**Yurika** is hiring We have **12-month Fixed Term** opportunities for **Metering Technicians** to join our Meter Delivery team to be located at **Perth, Western Australia**.

**Your opportunity**

As a Metering Technician, you'll be part of an office-based team, building on your highly practiced electrical skills to remotely commission and maintain Yurika metering in the National Electricity Market (NEM).

Here's how you'll do it:

- Coordinate with installation contractors, inspectors, and network operators to arrange new metering installations, validating the accuracy and correctness of metering, and providing technical support to customers and service providers.

The remuneration for your new role is:

- **9-day fortnight**: from **$128,919** per annum + **14.75%** superannuation + applicable allowances.

**What you'll bring**
- Current Electrical Workers License, trade qualified within Northern Territory or an ability to obtain mutual recognition.
- Demonstrated knowledge of safety requirements and the operation and maintenance of metering installations as well as the ability to install, test and fault find complex metering systems including telecommunications equipment.

We'd also love you to have:

- Working knowledge of Electricity Act & Regulations, Workplace Health & Safety Act and Regulations, National Electricity Rules, and other relevant statutory acts & regulations.
- Well-developed interpersonal communication skills to develop good working relationships with team members and external customers to provide efficient and effective solutions and improvements to meet business and regulatory requirements.
- Willingness to travel across broader Western Australia to assist with work.
- Current 'C' class open Drivers Licence.
