The Fleet Coordinator is accountable for daily planning of delivery schedules on regional fleets. This role ensures effective management of resources, balancing customer expectations with operational requirements.

  • Manage delivery schedules to meet service targets and control costs.
  • Coordinate additional transport as required to maintain service levels.
  • Ensure manifests and paperwork are accurately completed for dispatch.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to optimize vehicle loading.
  • Investigate and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
  • Verify compliance with all relevant regulations, including driver safety and load security.
  • Monitor and address any incidents or hazards promptly.
Requirements
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office applications, with the ability to learn new systems and adapt to evolving technologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, time management, and customer service skills.
  • Able to analyze problems, identify solutions, and escalate when necessary.
  • Basic understanding of South Australia's road network and major routes is essential.
