Senior Environmental Geochemist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Geochemist to contribute to our environmental and mine waste-related projects.

This role offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, supporting projects through all phases of development from early-stage assessments through to closure. Key responsibilities include planning, execution, and interpretation of geochemical investigations and studies, including characterisation of mine waste, water quality assessments, and predictive modelling of environmental impacts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of geochemical processes and their relevance to mining and environmental projects. You will be self-motivated, technically strong, and capable of working independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, execute, and interpret geochemical investigations and studies
  • Characterise mine waste and conduct water quality assessments
  • Predictively model environmental impacts
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 to 15+ years' experience in environmental geochemistry
  • Technical expertise in Acid Rock Drainage and related fields
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills
  • Sound understanding of environmental legislation and permitting frameworks
  • Excellent technical writing and reporting skills
