As an Environmental Geochemist, you will be at the forefront of this movement, playing a critical role in ensuring that environmental impacts are minimized and mitigated.

The role involves supporting projects through all phases of development, from early-stage assessments through to closure.

Key responsibilities include planning, executing, and interpreting geochemical investigations and studies, including characterisation of mine waste, water quality assessments, and predictive modelling of environmental impacts.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes, leveraging your technical expertise in Acid Rock Drainage and related fields.

Strong data analysis and interpretation skills, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, will enable you to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and drive project success.

Responsibilities
  • Planning and execution of geochemical investigations and studies
  • Characterisation of mine waste and water quality assessments

Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 to 15+ years' experience in environmental geochemistry
  • Experience in design, execution, and interpretation of geochemical characterisation programs
  • Technical expertise in Acid Rock Drainage and related fields
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills
  • Sound understanding of environmental legislation and permitting frameworks
  • Excellent technical writing and reporting skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a larger project team
