Formwork Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Formwork Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for the safe preparation and setup of formwork for heavy precast products.

  • You will read technical drawings to begin each project
  • Measure and set out decks for precast production
  • Cut and box up precast shutters for a job
  • Strip and store formwork shutters correctly

In addition to these primary responsibilities, you will assist with other aspects of the project, including pouring concrete, bending and tying steel reinforcement bars, and finishing concrete products.

Requirements:

  • Motivated individual with attention to detail
  • Reliable and safety-focused work ethic
  • Experience in form working and concrete production
  • Current driver's license (and forklift license ideal)

This is a permanent full-time or casual position, working Monday to Friday (day shift), with remuneration based on experience and overtime available as needed.

About This Role

Previous experience in construction, concreting, or manufacturing is preferred, along with an understanding of the precast industry. We offer career progression opportunities for the right individual.
