We are currently seeking skilled construction professionals to join our team in a specialty precast operation.
Job Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out various tasks related to formwork, steel fixing, and concreting of heavy precast products. This includes the safe preparation and setting up of all aspects of precast product formwork, reading technical drawings, measuring and setting out 'Decks' for precast production, cutting and boxing up of specific precast shutters for a job, stripping and correct storage of our formwork shutters, assisting with the pouring of concrete products, bending and tying of steel reinforcement bars where required, and finishing our concrete products ready for supply to customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Motivated with attention to detail;
- Reliable;
- Experience in form working and concrete production;
- Safe outlook on all aspects of daily activities;
- Current drivers license (and ideally a forklift license, but not necessary);
These roles can be permanent full-time or casual positions on a full-time basis from Monday to Friday (day shift) with remuneration based on experience and overtime hours available as needed.
Others:Previous experience in a construction, concreting, or manufacturing environment is preferred, as is an understanding of the precast industry.
