Job Title: Fixed Wireless Specialist

Our client is a technology start-up bringing telco services to regional Australians for the first time.

As the fixed-wireless specialist, you will be responsible for resolving all fixed-wireless faults within the network operations centre while monitoring trends and performance to deliver a robust radio access network. You will work closely with infrastructure and project management teams to assist with planning and execution of new network builds across Australia.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience working with fixed-wireless networks in a wireless internet service provider environment. They should have experience configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting fixed-wireless hardware, as well as a moderate understanding of radio frequency transmission fundamentals and knowledge of routing and switching, including OSPF and MPLS/VPLS.

Key skills include managing and delivering projects on time, supporting national broadband network services via the NBN portals, and working with vendors to report faults and incidents using their portal or preferred communication tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work in high-pressure environments and meet service level agreements and deadlines.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have a strong desire to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
