Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist - Behavioural and Mental Health

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in Behavioural and Mental Health. The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical leadership and a passion for delivering high-quality care to residents with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of Behavioural and Mental Health care plans
  • Provide education and training to staff on Behavioural and Mental Health care and support
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews of residents with Behavioural and Mental Health needs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including families and carers
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Aged Care and/or Mental Health
  • Proven experience in clinical leadership and team management
  • Strong knowledge of Behavioural and Mental Health care principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
