Job Description Overview
A retail banking client has initiated a cost optimisation programme focusing on procurement in the Australian market.
- A strong background in consulting is required, preferably with a Big 4 firm or equivalent industry experience.
- The ideal candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of the Australian retail banking sector and experience in procurement within major organisations.
- They will be responsible for analysing procurement arrangements, negotiating with third-party suppliers and enhancing the client's cost position through strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in presenting to clients via PowerPoint, are essential.
- The analyst must also be able to synthesise complex information into actionable insights and suggested strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Confirm and quantify potential cost savings opportunities in procurement.
Develop detailed scope, definition and implementation plans for multiple opportunities.
Collaborate with the client to deliver identified cost savings.
Logistics
Immediate start in Sydney, Australia.
Estimated annual salary range: AUD $78,000 - $99,000.
