Business Analyst - Cost Optimisation in Retail Banking

Job Opportunity: A leading organisation has commenced a cost optimisation program, initially focusing on procurement within the retail banking sector. We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to work with our client and their team.

  • The successful candidate will have experience working with a Big 4 consulting firm or equivalent industry experience.
  • A detailed understanding of the retail banking sector in Australia is essential.
  • Experience in procurement in major organisations is required.
  • The ability to analyse procurement arrangements and negotiate with third parties to optimise the client's cost position is crucial.
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills, particularly in PowerPoint, are necessary.
  • The ability to synthesise complex and disparate information into insights and recommended actions is vital.

We require the Business Analyst to confirm and size cost opportunities in the procurement area, develop detailed definition, scope and implementation plans for several initiatives, and work with the client to deliver identified cost savings.
