**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced banker to join our team in a challenging and dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will have strong skills in relationship management, credit analysis, and risk assessment. They will be responsible for providing expert advice and developing long-term relationships with customers, as well as managing end-to-end residential and commercial banking.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Having personal and meaningful conversations with customers and referral partners to provide an integrated customer experience.
  • Creating strong and lasting partnerships with branch colleagues, the wider group, and externally with referral networks and brokers.
  • Working together as a team to perform credit analysis and approving requests for temporary excesses/increased limits up to delegated commitment authority.
  • Managing lending and product requests for small business customers with long-term AAA pipeline for the customer portfolio.
  • Owning retention-related activities to bring the organization closer to customers and deepen the 'my bank' footprint.

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in a business-related discipline.
  • Experience in traditional distributed business models specializing in solutions and relationship management for customers from $0-$5M in home lending and $0-$2M in small business lending.
  • Delegated lending authority, enabling them to hit the ground running on day one.
