Technical Documentation Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Documentation Specialist to create, coordinate and maintain high-quality technical documentation. You will work closely with subject matter experts, engineers and planners to develop documentation that supports production and build readiness.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for production and build readiness
  • Collaborate with SMEs and engineers to gather and validate technical content
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, complete and aligned with engineering and production requirements
  • Work with planners and colleagues to support build sequencing and manufacturing readiness
  • Ensure documentation complies with program standards and version control protocols
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of documentation processes and tools

About You

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Proven experience in technical writing or authoring within a complex engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of engineering and production documentation standards
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and engineering data
  • Proficiency in document management systems and authoring tools (e.g. Adobe FrameMaker, MS Word, XML-based tools)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple documentation streams
