Project Coordinator - Civil Engineering

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Coordinator with strong civil engineering background to work on large-scale Renewable Energy projects in New South Wales.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager and Engineering Team to ensure project objectives are met on time with respect to cost, quality, and safety standards.

  • Lead the project development process ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
  • Review project files and documents raising technical queries related to the project.
  • Provide administrative support to on-site Supervision and project staff involved in the execution of works.
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project requirements are fulfilled.
  • Work in accordance with quality assurance procedures based on customer and ISO requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and maintaining project documentation and quality records ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • What you will bring:
    • A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering from an Australian recognised institution.
    • Ideal experience in Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) or Wind Farm construction.
    • Demonstrable experience in Substation construction including installation, testing, and commissioning of high voltage electrical work.
    • Site-based industry experience as a Project Coordinator within the substation, renewable energy, or construction sector.
    • Excellent written and communication skills with proficient use of MS Office Suite.
    • An innovative approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
    • Clear and engaging interpersonal and relationship building skills.
    • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
    • Proof of right to work in Australia.

To succeed in this role, you must possess well-developed interpersonal skills to build effective stakeholder relationships internally and externally while demonstrating a team-oriented approach to work and commitment to continuous improvement.
