About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Auxiliary Firefighter. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency incidents, including fires and other hazardous situations, in a safe and effective manner.
  • Participate in regular training and drills to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to community education and awareness programs to promote fire safety and emergency preparedness.
  • Operate specialized firefighting and rescue equipment, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our fire station facilities.
Requirements
  • Australian Permanent Resident Status.
  • Manual C Class driver's licence.
  • Ability to commit to regular attendance at emergency incidents and training sessions.
  • Willingness to obtain an MRV licence within 12 months of employment.
Desirable Skills
  • Previous experience in emergency services or a related field.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
