We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Auxiliary Firefighter. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our community.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to emergency incidents, including fires and other hazardous situations, in a safe and effective manner.
- Participate in regular training and drills to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to community education and outreach activities to promote fire safety and emergency preparedness.
- Operate specialized firefighting and rescue equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of station facilities and equipment.
- Employer's written consent to attend incidents and emergencies.
- Live or work within a reasonable distance of an auxiliary fire station.
- Australian Permanent Resident Status.
- Manual C Class driver's licence.
As an Auxiliary Firefighter with the Queensland Fire Department, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in your community. You will be part of a dynamic and dedicated team, working together to respond to emergencies and promote fire safety.
