Procurement Manager

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead our procurement services, including planning, sourcing, contracts, risk management, and supplier governance. This role will develop and implement strategies to support our business needs.

About the Role
  • Centralise group approach to supplier management for direct spend.
  • Leverage purchasing power to enhance pricing and rebate outcomes.
  • Create and implement strategies to ensure cost-effective procurement and high-quality goods and services.
Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
  • Manage the entire procurement process from initiation to final receipt and approval of goods.
  • Manage purchasing budget and ensure procurement activities stay within financial constraints.
  • Analyse market trends to forecast demand and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years' experience in Procurement, Sourcing, or Supply Chain in a managerial capacity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM).
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques, as well as market analysis skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure favourable terms with suppliers.
  • Proficiency in analysing data and making informed decisions.
  • Ability to write and manage RFPs.
  • Proven ability to create, promote, and manage a Supplier Governance Framework.
