About this Role

We're working towards a net zero carbon emission business by 2050 and need your expertise to help us achieve this goal.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a multi-disciplined technical team, prioritizing the operations and maintenance of gas turbine power generating plant. You'll be based at Pinjar Power Station near Perth, with occasional travel to support regional operations across Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Safety and Health team on all aspects of safety management
  • Plan, supervise, or carry out activities associated with equipment operation and maintenance
  • Carry out technical inspections, prepare reports, and manage maintenance outage projects
  • Prepare designs, calculations, estimates, specifications, drawings, and schedules for plant operations and maintenance
  • Develop method sheets for major plant
Requirements
  • Advanced TAFE certificate or diploma in a relevant discipline
  • Electrical trade certificate or license
  • Relevant industry experience in Gas Turbine Operation and Maintenance
  • Inspection/testing practices instrumentation and control systems
  • High voltage experience or background in Control systems desirable
